THERE IS A WAY
There’s just NO WAY!
No way that can happen!
No way can I do that!
No way that’s possible!
Really? Listen to this!
Isaiah 43:16 ….says the Lord, who MAKES A WAY in the sea and A PATH through the mighty waters.
Isaiah 43:19 “…and I will MAKE A ROAD in the wilderness and RIVERS in the desert.
Isaiah 45:2 “I will go before you and MAKE THE CROOKED PLACES STRAIGHT”. I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.
FAITH is one “WAY” in which God moves and works in our lives. Hebrews 11:30. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. When the tax bill was due, Jesus told Peter to go to the fishes’ mouth. As the people had faith to listen and follow through on direction, the walls came down. Money in the fishes’ mouth for taxes. According to your faith, it will be unto you Jesus said. What direction is God giving you?
PRAYER is another “WAY” of God moving in our lives and situations. Jesus said “You don’t have because you don’t ask”. What are you trying to handle by yourself in life? Why not ask? Jesus said ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened for you. It is another way in which God answers prayers and works in our life.
OUR PRAYER and FAITH FOR OTHERS is one way in which God will move in the lives of others. In Job 42, God told Job’s skeptic friends that because of Job’s prayers, they would experience grace and mercy. Job praying caused blessing for himself. Verse 10: “And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends”. When Paul was in prison, his friends were praying for him. The prison doors opened, the chains fell off and out he went. Never underestimate your voice in God’s kingdom for others.
SPEAKING is yet another divine strategy and law in which God has “MADE A WAY” for us. This is not to be confused with praying. Jesus demonstrated it when he spoke to the wind and also to the fig tree. He then said in Mark 11:23 “…Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say unto you, WHOEVER SAYS to this mountain (not to God), be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he WILL have whatsoever he says. It works alongside prayer. Verse 24. Therefore, I say unto you, WHATEVER things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you WILL have them.
MULTIPLICATION is another divine law and strategy in which God “MAKES A WAY” in our lives. It is based on what we have becoming more. We see it when the widow in the Old Testament had only a little oil. As she followed instruction, it was multiplied. Instruction was the seed of abundance that she took and planted in her life. We also see it with the loaves and fishes event in the New Testament. We see it every day in nature. We plant a tiny apple seed and then get a tree full of apples.
TRANSFORMATION is also a divine law and strategy in which God takes what is and makes it into something different in our life. Mourning turns to joy. The water turned to wine. The caterpillar turns into a butterfly. The tadpole into a frog. We will be “transformed” by the renewing of our mind. Our lives are transformed by God taking what “is” and making it into what it “will be” instead. He can take what you “have” – trouble, sickness, circumstances and lack and transform it into victory, healing and blessing. He can take your abilities, talent, time and effort and transform them into products, service, action, encouragement and blessing to others.
KNOWLEDGE is another of God’s provision in making a way for us. It can be part of wisdom and discernment. There are two references that come to mind – when God said my people perish for lack of knowledge – and my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Get wisdom. Get understanding the psalmist said.
Sometimes God “makes a way” for us by doing A NEW THING. Something totally new. Something different. It will involve change. Isaiah 42:9 – Behold the former things have come to pass. New things I declare. Isaiah 43:19 – Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Paul said in Philippians 3:13 – Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward….
Mark 19:26. With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
He WILL make a way where there seems to be no way. Are you looking, praying, believing and expecting my friend?
